The International Business Resource Center presents a short study tour of China focusing on Chinese business practices and cultures.  China has experienced strong economic growth over the last two decades and with its recent union with the World Trade Organization, its economy has become one of the largest open markets in the world.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit cultural sites, educational institutions, and businesses.  The tour to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Zhou and Hong Kong displays the wonders of these ancient cities.

“Those attending the China short study tour can expect a busy and exciting stay,” said Nzegwu, Executive Director of the IBRC “with a wide range of educational and cultural activities.”

Those students interested in attending this outstanding opportunity should contact either Krista Uhrig, Program Coordinator, 102 Royce Hall, 608-342-6251, uhrigk@uwplatt.edu or Louis Nzegwu, Executive Director of the IBRC at 342-1597 or email ibrc@uwplatt.edu.  Student participants must be enrolled full-time. The program includes airfare, lectures, hotel accommodations,  breakfast, in-country transportation, guides, receptions, mandated UW-System Health Insurance and three undergraduate credits.  Pre- and post- orientations are required.
