  • Original bank documents
  • Copy of passport photo page (including dependents)
  • Original transcripts
  • Proof of high school graduation
  • Original English proficiency test score.  (Minimum English proficiency required for admission to the ELP is 45 iBT TOEFL, 450 PBT TOEFL, or 4.5 IELTS. A placement test will be required upon arrival at UW-Platteville.)

How to Apply for SUMMER ELP

Note: The summer ELP will start in Summer 2015.

Step 1

Complete the ELP Application for Admission.

Step 2 Fill out the Financial Verification Form.
Step 3 Send:
  • Original financial verification form
  • Original bank documents
  • Copy of passport photo page (including dependents)
  • Original transcripts
  • Proof of high school graduation
  • Original English proficiency test score.  (Minimum English proficiency required for admission to the ELP is 45 iBT TOEFL, 450 PBT TOEFL, or 4.5 IELTS. A placement test will be required upon arrival at  UW-Platteville.)

Step 4 Application will be evaluated by the International Admission Advisor.
Ste​p 5 The acceptance letter and I-20 will be sent via courier.
Step 6

Summer Application Deadlines:

  • April 1 - Priority Deadline (Priority review and guaranteed on-campus housing)
  • April 15 - Last day that new applications may be submitted for review.
  • May 1 - All application documents must be submitted by this date.
Step 7 Deadline for submitting non-refundable orientation fee (approximately $260) for the ELP summer term is April 30.
