PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Women in EMS Mentor Program matches freshmen and sophomore women with upperclass women in small peer mentor groups (generally two to three mentees per mentor). Mentor groups meet at least eight times each semester and engage in social activities, academic opportunities, and career and professional development. Each mentor group sets their own meeting times and chooses their own activities. Groups may choose to plan their own activities, or attend events and programs on campus. Mentor groups work together on goal-setting and professional development and support one another in working toward these goals.
