2013 Financial Aid Timeline

January

  • File the 2014-2015 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.ed.gov. Students can obtain a paper FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-433-3243.
  • New Freshman Foundation Scholarship applications should be submitted to the Financial Aid Office. The deadline is February 1st (admitted students only).
  • Spring semester financial aid refund checks will be disbursed.
  • Continuing students should apply for UW-Platteville Foundation Scholarships. Deadline is March 1st.
  • Review the student employment Job Board or in the Financial Aid Office for employment opportunities (Federal Work-Study, Regular, and Off Campus).

February

  • Apply for 2014 summer school financial aid. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office and on-line.
  • Review off-campus summer job opportunities. Information available on the Job Board or in the Financial Aid Office.
  • New freshman who have been admitted and have a complete file will be notified and be able to view the awards online through PASS.
  • New freshmen who received UW-Platteville Foundation Scholarships will be notified.

April

  • Review the campus summer job opportunities on the Job Board or in the Financial Aid Office.
  • Review the off-campus summer job opportunities on the Job Board or in the Financial Aid Office.
  • Review your To Do List in PASS for requested information for your 2014-2015 financial aid application.
  • Continuing students who received a UW-Platteville Foundation Scholarship will be notified.
  • Apply for 2014 summer school financial aid. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office and on-line.

May

  • File the 2014-2015 FAFSA if you have not done so.
  • Respond to any Financial Aid Office requests for additional information for 2014-2015 found on your To Do List in PASS.
  • Complete the summer school financial aid application if attending summer school. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office or on-line.
