Currently the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science (EMS) serves more than 2,100 majors. UW-Platteville is expecting continued growth in the College of EMS as student enrollment at UW-Platteville increases to 8,000 students.

New Engineering Building

  • Construction began in May 2007. Ribbon cutting took place December 2008 and classes began January 2009.
  • The new building is located at the northwest corner of Longhorn Drive and Southwest Road near Southwest Hall.
  • The new engineering hall houses electrical engineering, physics, engineering physics, and general engineering labs
  • The building is 108,500,500 square-feet comprised of 15 classrooms including a distance learning classroom, 17 laboratories, 3 combination classroom/labs, 6 computer labs, student project space, and faculty and staff offices.
