UW-Platteville, like most colleges and universities in the country, has a Behavioral Review and Recommendation Team (BRRT) for the review of reports from any person in the campus community concerned about the well being of a student or employee. The priority of the BRRT is to identify and help any person who may be experiencing difficulty or who may pose a threat to the safety of themselves or the safety of others in the university community or who disrupts the normal functioning of the university.

Reporting Discrimination and Bias Incidents

Access the Bias Incident Report form here to report incidents of prejudice, discrimination and/or hate incidents.  The purpose of this confidential reporting form is to monitor the occurrence of Hate Incidents both on and off campus. The identity of the victim will be kept confidential. Completing this form will not necessarily result in criminal or university action; however, the type of incident and/or the victim’s willingness to take further action will determine whether or not additional steps will be taken.

Reporting Other Concerns

The priority of the Behavioral Review and Recommendation Team (BRRT) is to identify and help any person who may be experiencing difficulty or who may pose a threat to the safety of themselves or the safety of others in the university community or who disrupts the normal functioning of the University.  The focused efforts of BRRT are to assess situations, provide support and resources to help students or employees, recommend monitoring of situations, or recommend interventions. There are various ways to report a concern to BRRT, including sending an email to concerns@uwplatt.edu. The identity of a person sending a concern to the BRRT will be protected and anonymous reports will be accepted.
