Welcome to Morrow Hall
Morrow Hall, named after Homer B. Morrow and built in 1967, provides accommodations for approximately 68 women and 197 men. Morrow Field, a softball diamond, is located nearby. Morrow Hall has the only substance free wings on campus for both male and female residents. Some of the traditions in Morrow Hall include Wednesday Night Popcorn and the annual service project "Morrow Works Week"!
From the Desk of the Resident Director
Welcome back from Spring Break, and I hope you are enjoying all the spring weather we are finally receiving! The semester may be half over, but there is still quite a bit happening on campus and in the residence halls.
The Morrow Hall Service Auction will be on Thursday April 3rd in the Morrow Hall Cave. You should stop on by at 7pm to see what is auctioned off. All of our proceeds will be donated to Passing on Hope, a charity founded by one of our very own residents! Even if you are unable to purchase anything, please stop by and enjoy the event!
April break will be upon us before we know it, so make sure you are planning accordingly. April Break begins Thursday April 17th, and the halls will close at 6pm. The halls will re-open on Sunday April 20th at 5pm. Students are able to stay in the buildings during this break, but you do need to sign up to stay. There will be a sign up form available at the front desk as we approach the break. Make sure you fill out that form to confirm your spot here. As a reminder if you have a loft and took your bed ends home, those will need to be returned before you can check out for the end of the year. Plan ahead to try and get those back early! Also keep an eye out for messages from the Resident Assistant on your wing. They will be planning meetings that will have a lot of important information about breaks and assessment!
As a reminder, Hall Council is planning a lot of great things this month. Be sure to check out the bulletin board by the main lobby to see what next week’s theme is, and the current standing of wing wars. Keep an eye out for the “Hall Umbrella” as well. If you find it and bring it to Hall Council on Monday’s at 9pm you will receive a prize and wing war points! I hope to see you there!
As always there are a lot of great events happening on campus so make sure you check the campus calendar accordingly.
Feel free to stop by and say hello if you are walking past my office!
