College of BILSA honors award winners and outstanding alumni

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture honored recipients of the annual college awards as well as the Outstanding Alumni Awards.

Those selected for the Outstanding Alumni Award included Rick Lenz, Randy Smith, Dr. Philip Villani, Dr. Mike Retallick and Dr. John “Jack” O’Neill. Steve Becker was presented with the BILSA Alumni Chapter Service Award.

Tom and Renée Sigwarth, owners of Country Kitchen and Dairy Queen in Platteville, were selected for the Friend of the College Award; Gloria Stuckey was selected for the Distinguished Employee Award; Wendy Stankovich was selected for the Outstanding Employee Award; and Dr. Chris Baxter was selected for the Thomas and Lee Ann Lindahl Teaching Excellence Award. Dr. Amanda Trewin was honored as the recipient of the UW System Alliant Energy Underkofler Excellence in Teaching Award.
