RHA Blood Drive 2013

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The UW-Platteville Residence Hall Association hosted an American Red Cross Blood Drive Oct. 15-17 on campus. This semester’s blood drive resulted in the donation of 818 quality units of blood. Each unit can save up to three lives.

“The event went incredibly well,” said Emma Cleveland, president of the RHA and a sophomore majoring in political science and sustainable and renewable energy systems from Platteville. “We were a little nervous going into it because it wasn’t Homecoming and fall break was going to be taking students away from campus, but even with these two factors, we still did phenomenal.”
