The Department of Residence Life at UW-Platteville offers a wide variety of living options to fit the needs of today’s college students. All residence halls are staffed with resident assistants, senior assistants, and a resident director dedicated to providing inclusive, student-centered, academically focused communities for the residents. The involvement and assistance of our dedicated staff helps to make our residence halls enjoyable places to live, study, and work. All residence hall rental agreements are full academic year contracts, unless a student is approved for a one semester agreement for academic purposes.

Please discuss the Making Your Choice brochure you received from your RA, with your family/guardians.  The Department of Residence Life offers many building configurations and amenities for today's student.  Make the right choice for your lifestyle and your budget.  The room reservation process begin with suite-style sign-up the week of February 4, 2013 (Southwest Hall, Bridgeway Commons, Rountree Commons) and continues with traditional hall sign-up the week of February 11, 2013 (Brockert, Dobson, Hugunin, McGregor, Melcher, Morrow, Pickard, Porter, and Wilgus).  Please pay special attention to postings and emails generated by the Department of Residence Life for the most up to date information regarding the reservation process.
