Director: Linda Mulroy-Bowden
I am beginning my twenty-third year at UW-Platteville as a member of the Central Staff Housing team. I obtained my undergraduate degree at UW-Eau Claire in Special Education/ Elementary Education and my graduate degree in College Student Personnel from UW-LaCrosse.
In the role as Director, I have the overall responsibility for the management of the residence hall community of 3,700+ students in twelve residence halls. This includes management of fiscal resources, supervision of personnel, programmatic development, administration of room assignments, development and implementation of policies and procedures, and facility management.I am beginning my twenty-second year at UW-Platteville as a member of the Central Staff Housing team.
Assistant Director: Robin GORE
As the Interim Assistant Director of Residence Life at UW-Platteville I work with and supervise 6 of 12 residence halls: Rountree Commons, Brockert, Dobson, McGregor, Pickard and Wilgus. I also have responsibility for departmental initiatives including Resident Assistant and Senior Assistant staff recruitment, selection training and personnel paperwork, departmental issues and diversity education, and supervision of the Summer Residence Hall staff and program. I am in my 13th year working professionally with the Department of Residence Life. I obtained my undergraduate degree from UW-Platteville in Biology and my graduate degree from UW-La Crosee in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education.
Residence life Operations Coordinator: Matt Zielinski
I am beginning my ninth year as part of the Department of Residence Life. I am a graduate of UW-Platteville with degrees in Education/Special Education, Spanish and Criminal Justice.
My responsibilities as Operations Coordinator include oversight of facility operations for all 12 residence halls, supervision of facility projects and renovations, coordination of safety and security practices, liaison for Resident Director staff with campus Maintenance and Custodial departments, supervision of the residence hall summer camps and conferences program, supervision of 13 student Senior Assistants, oversight of residence hall front desk operations, professional staff recruitment, and serving as the Administrative Liaison to NRHH. I also work with and supervise 3 of the residence halls: Melcher, Morrow and Southwest.
Administrative Services COORDINATOR: Jennifer Artz
I am beginning my ninth year at UW-Platteville. I am a graduate of UW-Platteville’s Counselor Education graduate program and hold an undergraduate degree from UW-Stevens Point in Psychology.
As Administrative Services Coordinator my responsibilities include working with business operations and technological aspects of the department, coordination of administrative aspects of Living Learning Communities, liaison with UW-Platteville’s Admissions and Recruitment offices, and serving as Administrative Liaison to RHA. I also have supervision responsibilities in Hugunin, Porter, and Bridgeway Commons.
