New student Registration

Please stop down to our table at this year's New Student Registration. ResNet Staff will be there for all 15 days (see below for dates) starting from 11:45am to 1:15pm. The ResNet Staff will be able to answer any questions that you might have about technology in the Residence Halls or on campus. The ResNet Support Manager will also be on the Experts Panel right after the the Resource Fair. If you did not get chance to get your questions answered at the table, please bring them up at Expert's Panel as there might be others wondering the same thing. ResNet Mission

The mission of ResNet is to provide the residence hall students with access to technology resources. These resources allow students to access a world of information that is available electronically on the campus network and the Internet.

Students are provided this opportunity through in-room connections and hall labs. By facilitating this access to technology and information, resources are provided that enhance living and learning opportunities as well as technical skills.

Students also increase their general knowledge and interact with people in not only a local but global society. The skills they receive will not only enhance their academic career at UW-Platteville but will also follow them into the work force after they graduate.
