Submission Requirements

  • If you are submitting a photo, clipart, graphic file, etc. that you would like Design Services to use; they must meet the following requirements:
    • Photos: minimum 300 dpi resolution
    • Clipart: must be the original file created in either Adobe Illustrator (ai) or Adobe Photoshop (eps); files must be in outline format to ensure the font you want loads on our computers.
  • All submissions must be in high resolution format.
  • We are unable to accept Microsoft Publisher files.
  • These requirements ensure a quality product is produced.

Work Requests

  • Work Request Forms must be received by Design Services 10 business days in advance of the date needed. Any order placed with less notice will be charged a rush fee and Design Services will attempt to provide a finished product on time.
  • Customers who request Design Services to stop a project that has already been begun will still be responsible for the cost of services regardless of a finished product.
  • On the Work Request Form, the customer is provided with the option of receiving their finished project on CD to save for their own records. Design Services retains electronic copies of projects for one year. After one year, the project is deleted.

Proofs

  • Proofs must be reviewed carefully. If the proof is approved and the item is printed, additional charges will apply for any changes.
  • Our posted prices include three revisions. For any revisions beyond three, additional charges will apply.

Additional Policies

  • We are unable to work on class projects. No exceptions.
  • Only the designer assigned to your project can make changes.
  • Previous debts must be paid in full before we can start a new project.
  • Work on logos must be pre-approved by University Communications and Information Office.
