We are here to support your academic success by providing tutoring services across the curriculum that supplement your classroom instruction and lead you to a lifetime of successful learning.

Our mission is to serve the student body, faculty, and staff members of the UW-Platteville community by creating a space for academic interaction and an environment of active critical thought. Our services cover the spectrum of academic disciplines, from the liberal arts to the hard sciences.

WRITING CENTER

The Writing Center mission is to help students become more confident, effective writers. We assist students, staff, and   faculty with any “word-related” needs.

UNIVERSITY TUTORING SERVICES

UTS provides academic support for UW-Platteville students in a variety of courses at a reasonable rate of $1.50/hour.

PEER-ASSISTED LEARNING (PALs)

The PAL program is an academic assistance program that provides support both inside and outside of the classroom. Student PALs will attend lectures, discussions, and labs, and will hold office hours outside of the classroom.
