The new home page and hub pages are nearing completion, as is testing on the server. Based on tests and feedback from campus, those pages will go live the afternoon of April 19. (The hub pages are the 10 main landing sites full of links to resources that will be available off every single web page.)

Much additional work has been completed to prepare for the transition of the rest of the web site. After considerable testing of functionality on the pilot pages and finalizing design standards, training has begun for all content stewards. Our goal is to train content stewards to meet the go-live date you have requested, but if your pages are ready sooner, you may go live sooner. The next group of content stewards to be trained will be notified early next week.

While you have been reviewing your content, we have also been collecting and updating photos that will be available as you build your pages. For any additional photographer needs or to schedule a photographer to come to your area and update your picture selections, contact Andy McNeill at mcneill@uwplatt.edu.

If your department is not on the schedule, have your content stewards contact Deb Meyer to register for training at meyerdeb@uwplatt.edu.
